Prior to the addition of grippy tape, the roomba cage was sharp, and easily able to scratch metal surfaces. One user known as Caydu took advantage of this and scratched the heck out of the furnace and the air duct.

there's an overflow pipe (pvc pipe designed to carry overflowed water from the furnace into the drain to avoid flooding) which apparently isnt very well secured. a user known as Caydu was able to knock this pipe loose repeatedly, causing Carpet to block underneath the stairs with a wooden plank
